I got spoiled early too, just the final three but I was really hoping all season it wasn't true, but it was and that became apparent. Someone posted it on Jeff Probst's blog in the comments back in February. Once read it cannot be unread. Bah.
here's the post (I managed to look away before reading the bit about Russel getting no votes, so at least I was spared that bit):

That really sucks tdw. I've been so careful this season, I would have like to have read Jeff's blog or Survivor Sucks but I knew I couldn't risk it.

I really didn't think for a second that someone would name the final three in a response to Jeff's blog for episode 1. ![]() Last edited by tdw; 26-05-2010 at 08:36 PM.. |

I love Ethan, whilst Boston Rob is my favourite all round naughty boy with a twinkle in his eye, Ethan is my favourite good guy & cutie, and Ozzy is another fave. Ethan has spent most of his time after Survivor working with charities and kids, and especially in Africa and doing sporty stuff with kids, he's been battling cancer. 'Survivor' Winner Ethan Zohn's Cancer Is in Remission By Aly Semigran ON May 17, 2010 at 12:54PM ![]() ESPN soccer reporter and AIDS activist Ethan Zohn is a Survivor, without question. The reality-TV star -- who won CBS' Survivor: Africa (the series' 2001-'02 season) -- is currently in remission from a rare form of Hodgkin's Disease. The good news comes almost a year after Zohn, 36, received the diagnosis, according to People. Zohn's girlfriend, fellow Survivor champ Jenna Morasca, confirmed to People: "A few weeks ago, we got his first clean CT scan. Now we can officially call him 'in remission'. We were so nervous for this test because good news on this test meant we could start our lives again." Zohn, who had to endure a stem cell transplant (which Morasca called "a long and daunting process") after his cancer came back, was finally told in April that his disease was now in remission. The first thing the overjoyed couple did when they found out the news? That's right, a trip to Walt Disney World! It seems that Zohn is more than ready to face his future with gusto. Morasca, 29, told fans, "Ethan says he is just excited to start living again and enjoying every precious moment. We wanted to come out of this stronger people with more appreciation for each other and the world, and that's exactly what happened." Zohn, a Massachusetts native, will soon begin filming a new series called Outside Today, and will reportedly continue to work with the charity he founded, Grassroot Soccer -- a foundation that uses "the power of soccer in the fight against HIV and AIDS." He's lovely, an allround sweetie, devoted to kids in Africa and prevention of HIV.
Survivor Africa was fascinating, and I remember they did some visit to a poor Arfican village and him playing with the kids with his hacky sack soccer thingy. |
