After three years without Big Brother on our TV screens, the sudden announcement that it's returning next year has filled me with plenty of nostalgia and excitement. You're probably feeling the same.

This is a quick notice to let you know that behindbigbrother.com (BBBA) will be returning to cover the 2012 season of Big Brother. In the coming months behindthebox will be returning to its BBBA roots.

It's going to take some time to get a site like BBBA up and running again, so please be patient - "Big Brother will get back to you".

In the meantime, get posting on the forums. We'll be posting updates as we get them.

Hi everyone,

Early this morning these BBBA/BTB forums were hacked and as a result a number of forums and user accounts were deleted. Our backup of the forums ran after the incident so we are unable to restore what has been lost.

We've spent the better part of today collecting forensic evidence that has been forwarded to the AFP (including IP addresses of the culprit), and cleaning up the changes that were made. We've also updated the forum software to the very latest version, and added new security measures in an effort to stop this from happening again.
